Returns Policy

effective October 21, 2012 wants to make your shopping experience easy and risk free.  If our offer has not met  your expectations, you can send it back for a full refund of the package price within 60 days.  No questions, no RMAs, no gimmicks.  We request you to contact us via email or chat using the Feedback widget on our website so we may fix any shortcoming, an error on our part, or at the very least collect constructive feedback, so that we don’t disappoint other users of  If you have any questions about our or products or our guarantee, please email us or chat with us using the Feedback widget on our website.

No Guarantee: We work very hard to ensure that a found item is returned back to it’s owner.  However, we do not guarantee a return of a lost item, since it depends on many factors outside our control, including the cooperation of a “finder”, local law enforcement or a local business that received the “found” item.  We are not liable for the cost of the lost item, any recovery costs on your part, or any material loss to you due to the lost item.  We also bear no responsibility for the loss or damage to your items during shipment.  Please contact the concerned shipping company should you have any questions.

Returns and Exchanges: Returns and exchanges can be made only by regular mail.  Please mail back ALL the items you received with your order, including any used and unused tags and other materials received by you.  No refund shall be issued and no communication sent, if all the items you received with your order are not returned back to us.

Your Responsibility:  You are responsible for the return packing and shipment, and we cannot refund our shipping and handling costs.  If the return is due to an error in our fulfillment process, we’ll bear the costs of shipping both ways.

Returning by Mail

  • Return Mailing Address: Our Processing Center cannot accept returns in person. Mail returns to: IsThisLost Returns Processing, 911 Jollyville Road, Suite 100, Austin, Texas 78759.
  • Within the US: Returned items should be sent via insured, prepaid Regular US Mail. Ensuring your return allows you to track your parcel with the US Postal Service.  We cannot accept CODs or courier deliveries.
  • Outside the US: Ship goods prepaid, by insured ground shipping. To avoid unnecessary delays, please write “U.S. Goods returning” on the outside of the package.

Other carriers: Do not return items by UPS or other carriers, as duty and/or brokerage fees will be charged, and your return will be refused by IsThisLost.

Exchanges: If you are requesting an exchange, please include sufficient instructions with your return.  Where applicable, please contact your local customs office for information about any taxes or duties that may be assessed on a return shipment.
